Hamelin. Stand Up For African Mothers

Hamelin Onlus, 2012 – 2016

Hamelin Onlus is a project founded in 2012 thanks to the initiative of Alessandra Lepri, with the goal of helping those most in need. Each year, the organization brings together a group of amateur actors who work professionally in very different fields – lawyers, engineers, biologists, architects, doctors, managers, and entrepreneurs – but are united by a shared passion for theater and a common goal: to support “good causes.”

This group is known as the “Compagnia dei Benef-ATTORI” (Company of Benef-Actors), and its members dedicate their time to staging a theatrical comedy to raise funds for a cause that requires support at that moment. The project stands out for the value it places on people and their time, making it extraordinary, unique, and highly successful.

Here are some highlights of the charitable activities carried out by the Company:

• 2013: Performance for AMREF at the Teatro Eliseo in Rome.
• 2014: Performance for the Fondazione Italiana del Rene at the Teatro Eliseo.
• 2015: Performance in support of the Ospedale Bambino Gesù at the Teatro Ambra Jovinelli.
• 2016: Performances for Telethon, held at the Teatro Quirino in Rome and at the Triennale in Milan.

Every year, the project manages to engage and move the audience, effectively supporting causes that make a significant difference in the lives of many people.
